Paula Garst Arraignment

An Amarillo woman is facing up to 250 years in prison and $4 million worth of fines.

Paula Garst was indicted Wednesday in federal court on 13 counts of fraud and money laundering.

According to the indictment Garst offered low-cost health insurance to small businesses, and people who were self-employed.

In all she is charged with health care, mail and wire fraud, and four counts of money laundering.
