Doctors Don't Practice What They Preach

The Annals of Internal Medicine says nearly half of all doctors admit they've failed to report colleagues who make serious medical mistakes -- even though the vast majority agree such mistake should be reported.

More than 30 percent of doctors refuse to treat patients who can't pay. And more than one-third say they would order an unneeded MRI scan for an insistent patient.
