It is predicted to be the largest Thanksgiving pilgrimage ever despite prices at the pump or the airline delays.

One traveler flying from Dallas to Detroit this morning says airport traffic was a lot smoother than he expected.

Gas prices are up more than 85 cents on average compared to this time last year, but AAA predicts more than 31 million travelers will hit the highways this year.

That's just part of what would be a record 38.7 million Americans expected to travel for the Thanksgiving holiday.
