Scouting for food... Boy scouts in our area are turning around a tough donation year for one charity.
The scouts left empty bags with Amarillo residents last week. Today they went back to retrieve the sacks, filled with canned goods to bring to the High Plains Food Bank.
They say its all about doing their part for the community.
Matt Hand, Cub Scout Master, "What the boys will get from this is they will learn there are things more important than yourself. They will learn the importance of service to others and how much good each one of us can do if we just do a little bit."
