Amtrykes at Outback

Three area kids received a boost in self esteem, and a nice toy this afternoon.

Outback Steakhouse provided three new Amtryke bikes for the youngsters.

The bikes help in therapy, and give disabled children a way to have a more normal child life.

"We raise money each year for kids who can't walk, or maybe can walk just a little bit but need motor skills. Amtrykes help them develop those motor skills in their legs and arms," said George Teague, president of Ambucks.

Ambucks is the company that delivers the bikes. They have already passed last year in output, and they hope to keep up the pace this year.

Outback provided two of the bikes, and the staff put together their own tip money to provide the third.
