High Fire Danger

Much of our area is under a Red Flag Warning for high fire danger on Tuesday.

The National Weather Service put the Western 2/3 of the Texas and Oklahoma Panhandles, and Southwest Kansas under the warning beginning at 11am.

Stormtrack Ten Meteorologist Shel Winkley says even area counties not under the Red Flag Warning should watch out for fire danger, because with high winds, low humidity, and tall, dry grass, a wildfire could spark and move very quickly.
