Cold Medicine Recalls

Several non-prescription cold medicines are being pulled from store shelves this evening.

Wyeth says the products are being removed because they come with a dosing cup that does not mark the half-teaspoon level recommended for children aged 2 through 5 years old.

That is why the company has started a voluntary recall and replacement program at retail outlets nationwide of several products listed:

Robitussin: Cough DM, Cough  & Cold CF, Cough & Congestion, Head & Chest Congestion PE, Cough Sugar Free DM, Children's Dimetapp Cough & Chest Congestion

Officials are stressing that there is nothing wrong with the
products.
