WASHINGTON (AP) - Republican presidential hopeful Rudy Giuliani today won Texas Governor Rick Perry's endorsement -- despite their differences on abortion rights.
Perry opposes abortion rights. He acknowledges that his biggest concern about Giuliani had been the former New York mayor's support for abortion rights. But he says he's satisfied Giuliani would appoint judges who view the issue conservatively.
Perry says that when he buys a pickup truck, he doesn't rule it out simply because it has one option he doesn't like.
Giuliani says he wants conservatives to focus on areas where he agrees with them.
