Jury selection has begun today for two men charged with the murder of a ten year old portales boy.
21 year old Demetrio Salas and 31 year old David Griego are both facing life in prison if convicted of first degree murder. They are just two of four men charged in the September 2005 killing.
Officers say the men drove by and shot into the house where 10 year old Carlos Perez was sleeping...hitting and killing him.
Police are still looking for the trigger man in this case. 28 year old Noe Torres... Is charged with first degree murder, and has been on the run for two years now.
