An Amarillo teenager is missing... Feared to have drowned in Lake Greenbelt.

Authorities say the 18 year old male was on a make-shift floatation device when it sank. Sending him in the water, about 700 feet off shore.

A second teen on the device with him managed to swim to land... But tonight there is no sign of the other teenager.

Sheriff Butch Blackburn says, "We started underwater search for recovering yesterday evening, around 7:30, it went on till about 11 last night. Then again at seven this morning. Dive teams are still looking"

Officials say they are now considering this a recovery mission.
