Personal Identification Information in Dealership Dumpster's

"This is rather shocking but I guarantee you that we will have the problem corrected before you leave," says Dean Sather "This is rather shocking but I guarantee you that we will have the problem corrected before you leave," says Dean Sather

Your private identification information is being thrown in dumpsters at certain car dealerships in Amarillo. Waiting to be found by potential thieves.

This paperwork includes everything from social security numbers to income information. Everything a crook needs to assume your identity.

We searched through eight car dealership dumpsters... But only found private information in two... Pollard Used Cars and Saturn of Amarillo... Which are both owned by the same organization. We showed management with what found. They say the problem should have never been an issue since they have paper shredders in every office.

Dean Sather says, "That's rather shocking. Unless its a new employee, everyone understands the law, and the Graham Leech Billy law, so there shouldn't be anything found in any dumpster so this is rather shocking but I guarantee you that we will have the problem corrected before you leave."
