Three Convicted in Meth Trial

Three people are convicted and one is acquitted on charges in connection with the largest drug bust in Amarillo history.

A federal jury convicted 29 year old Sittiphone "Teddy" Phengsenkham and his brother 35 year old Itthison "Eddy" Phengsengkham on conspiracy to commit a drug offense and money laundering conspiracy.  Each could face up to life in prison and a $500,000 fine.

Co-defendant Tuan Anh Tran was also convicted on money laundering charges. He could face up to 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.

The fourth defendant, Stephanie Feng Tran was acquited of the money laundering charges against her.

Federal and local law enforcement raided the Colonial Manor motel on Amarillo Boulevard on February 15th.

    Drivers in downtown Amarillo could soon be dealing with fewer one-way streets. It all has to do with the parking garages going up on Buchanan Street. Cars will need to exit right and left on 7th and 8th Avenues, and right now it's against city ordinance to turn left out of any parking garage in the city.
