Roosevelt Co. Electric Bills on the Rise

If you live in Roosevelt County, you may see a increase in your next electric bill. Customers of Roosevelt County electric co-op could see the increase as early as next month.

An average 80 dollar bill would cost you four dollars more. The co-op says they haven't raised rates in more than 22 years, but the rising cost of supplies is causing the increase.

The New Mexico Public Regulations Commission was set to vote on the increase today, but will not release those results until next week.
