Hereford...Beef Capital of the World

You've probably heard the title Hereford claims... Beef capital of the world.

The area is home to more than a million head of cattle on feed.

"Our number one trading partner today is Mexico. Japan was, Japan is now second," says John Josserand, AZ TX Cattle

Josserand notes the beef also ends up on dinner plates in South Korea and Taiwan.

He credits quality and safety measures for making local beef so internationally attractive.
