FDA Recall: Botulism Risk

Federal Health officials say you should through out cans of a number of Castleberry Food Company products after four people have gone to the hospital with botulism.

The Food and Drug Administration says the warnings apply to a number of products with "best by" dates from April 30, 2009 - May 22, 2009.

Botulism is a rare, muscle-paralyzing disease caused by a toxin.

The FDA says don't even open the can, because if any of the product gets on your hand you can get botulism.

   -- Cattle Drive Chili With Beans, 15-ounce can (UPC 3030001515)
   -- Southern Home Corned Beef Hash, 15-ounce can (UPC 0788015360)
