Less red tape but same budget crunch for Haven

There's less red tape, but a lingering budget crunch. That's what the Downtown Women's Center tells us it's facing since taking over management of the haven from the state.

It remains a recovery house for local women with addiction.  We're told it's now much easier to provide services for Haven residents without filing mountains of state paperwork.

But setting the table is still a challenge, "We desperately could use meat. You know if you think about feeding someone, fifteen women meat every single night; gets very expensive."

Sanders says she's always looking for budget solutions when it comes to food.
