NALJA Comes Back To Amarillo

Amarillo's economy will receive millions of dollars in the near future when a major cattle show returns to the city.

The North American Limousin Junior Association announced Wednesday they will be in Amarillo in 2009 and 2013. Between 500-600 head of Limousin cattle will be shown by exhibitors under the age of 21.

Those involved say each show is expect to bring about two million dollars into the local economy. This is the first time in the shows 31 year history that they doubled booked in the same city.

The association says they did it due to the people and facilities in Amarillo.
