Clean-Up Continues

Clean-up continues after heavy rains flooded the Wolf Creek area of Ochiltree county more than a week ago.

The Texas Department of Transportation says 30 yards of Highway 70 are still closed just south of Perryton. Crews hope to have the road drained and inspected by the end of the weekend.

Also, officials tell NewsChannel 10 inmates will be in Wolf Creek Park Monday, helping to remove tree branches and other debris washed into Lake Fryer.

The southside of the park remains closed due to flooded roads. The National Weather Service says the area got a half-inch of rain Thursday night.
