Leadership Conference at WTAMU

West Texas A & M University is just one of many schools across North America taking part in a youth leadership conference.

Throughout the weekend, nearly 75 high school sophomores will take part in the conference at West Texas A&M.

Hugh O'Brien, who is best known for playing lawman Wyatt Earp in the television series that ran from 1955-1961, is the founder of the conference.

The students will learn about political awareness, leadership developments, and about community service and activism.

Similar conferences are taking place across the country and in Canada and in Mexico.
