Stranded student finally leaves

A local college student who missed her trip because of a passport problem can finally leave the country. Cassie Wiley is now on her way to Mexico to catch up with her exchange program.  She missed her flight Monday because her passport had not arrived yet.  Travel agents tell us passport processing delays - which can now take up to fourteen weeks - are keeping other area travellers from leaving the country as well.   Wiley says earlier this week the national passport center told her she would receive the document Wednesday, but it did not arrive until Thursday morning.
