As gas prices continue to rise so does the chance you'll pay more for food. NewsChannel 10 spoke with one local business owner who says he's already paying more for some items from his food distributor.

Brent Bynum, owner of the Burger Barn in Amarillo, says Affiliated Foods told him they could raise the prices on all the food they distribute if gas goes up much more.

He says as distributors charge more, business will have to charge more, which in the end will affect the customer.

Bynum says he has not raised his prices at this time and will hold off as long as he can. However he says he has friends in the local food business who have already had to raise their prices.
