Low voter turnout in Amarillo

There was low turnout of Amarillo voters this year. In Randall County, out of almost 73,000 registered voters only around nine-thousand cast their ballots.

Compared to the last constitutional amendment election in November 2005 that's down more than 10,000 voters.

Potter County had about 4,000 less voters this year, close to only 5,000 people voted out of the more than 52,000 registered voters.
