Child Endangerment Update

Police have now arrested a Clovis woman in a child endangerment case we first told you about on NewsChannel10.

37-year-old Maria Terrones is accused of leaving her two-month-old daughter alone in her car vo parked outside an OfficeMax store last Friday.

Police say they found the infant wrapped in blankets and sweating heavily.

The New Mexico Children, Youth and Families Department took the child into custody.

Terrones is now free on a ten-thousand-dollar bond.
