Tornadoes-Top Story

Tornadoes are touching down all over the panhandle area, Oklahoma and Kansas.  Just Friday some blew through Ellis County in Oklahoma.

At least two were reported damaging a house and destroying outbuildings and some vehicles.  Fortunately, there were no injuries.

Meantime, in Greensburg, KS the death toll is rising tonight after a tornado hit the town Friday.  The twister was reportedly at least 3/4 of a mile wide.  At least nine deaths are being blamed on the tornado including a sheriff's deputy who was rushing to the scene from a neighboring county.

About 95% of the city sustained damage and rescuers have been using dogs to help search for people who may be trapped beneath demolished buildings.
