New Lights Ministries damaged in storms

The youth group at the New Lights Ministries were wrapping up their dance practice when winds started to pick up quickly, so instead of trying to make their way home they went into the basement to a secure room.

The church's pastor was with them and today she is overjoyed that no one was hurt "I didn't really see the area until this morning, it was astonishing to see that no one was hurt, we could have been dead, no one was hurt and everybody is at home with their parents.

The part of the roof that's still attached was just replaced last year when the same type of winds destroyed that portion.

The pastor hopes insurance will help them rebuild, but in the meantime they will be forced to have service elsewhere.
