Stormtrack Ten Meteorologist John Harris says the storms hit Amarillo around 9.

City of Amarillo, Atmos Energy, and Xcel Energy crews worked throughout the night to clear the streets, and restore gas and electricity.

Among the areas hit, the wind took down utility poles and lines around NW18th and Rusk.
At the Amarillo Boulevard and Eastern the wind wrapped a mobile home around power lines.
In the area around NE24th power lines and debris closed streets for much of the morning.

If you have debris blocking the street in your area, call the City of Amarillo at 378-6821.
