Murder Investigation: Woman Stabbed to Death

A clerk at a local convenience store is stabbed to death according to police and tonight they are on the hunt for a murderer.

It is a developing story that NewsChannel 10 has been tracking all evening.  The crime happened at a B & B Food Stores at 2701 SE 10 Street just after 6:00 p.m.

When officers arrived they found Huong Rowlett, 63, inside the store with multiple stab wounds.

"We feel that possibly someone came in here and Ms. Rowlett was a victim of robbery, and they may have stolen cash or other items inside the store," says Lt. Gary Trupe, APD Special Crimes Unit.

NewsChannel 10 is told that the victim was a family member of the owners of the food store.  She died at the hospital and an autopsy has been ordered.
