Relief fund established for tornado victims

CLOVIS, N.M. Community Action New Mexico has established a relief fund at Wells Fargo branches around New Mexico for victims of the tornadoes that hit southeastern New Mexico on Friday.The organization's executive director, Ona Porter, says money is the easiest and quickest means of providing help.

The Salvation Army, American Red Cross and the United Way of Eastern New Mexico are also accepting monetary donations for the relief effort.

And First Community Bank donated five thousand dollars and is challenging businesses and citizens to make donations for the long-term recovery.
