Deadly weapons are discovered in an Amarillo high school student's car not far from campus...
A student tip led police to a car parked near the school that allegedly had a shot gun, ammunition and other weapons inside.
The car belonged to 17 year old Terrell Slocum who was arrested for unlawfully carrying weapons within 300 ft of a weapon free zone.
Police say this could have been a dangerous situation.
Slocum faces up to a year in jail and a 4-thousand dollar fine. He can also be punished by the school district.
