Thornberry Opposes Iraq Resolution

A resolution against President Bush's decision to send thousands of additional troops in Iraq is the source of a hot debate in Washington DC.

House Democrats support the resolution, Republicans are split over the issue.

Panhandle area congressman Mac Thornberry is clearly against it.

He argues the resolution is political posturing and that it would discourage troops from their mission.

House Resolution 63 is expected to come to a vote Friday.
