Life in prison-- an Amarillo man receives two life terms for kidnapping a local doctor two years ago.
The incident happened in March of that year when officials say Dr. Steven Berk was abducted at gunpoint from his Amarillo home and robbed.
43-year-old Jack Jordan entered the home through an open garage and demanded money at gunpoint.
He then made Dr. Berk drive around with him looking for an ATM. Berk managed to convince him that he did not have a pin number.
Jordan later dropped berk off in Bushland unharmed.
Days later, Jordan was taken into custody in Arizona.
Thursday, an Amarillo jury found Jordan guilty of aggravated robbery and kidnapping.
According to the Randall County District Attorney... Jordan will serve a minimum of 30 years behind bars, per sentence.
That means he would have to be 103 years-old befor he is eligible for parole.
