Perry Reform Plan Calls for Exit Exams

Perry's plan to test Texas students on their way to graduation has at least one local university leader puzzled.

The governor is calling for exit exams as part of his plan for higher education reform.

Under the plan, colleges and universities would earn more money for higher scores on exit exams...but the score would not affect a person's chances of earning a degree.

One West Texas A&M official tells NewsChannel 10 he likes the idea, but he's not sure how to motivate students to study for a test that won't affect their grades.
