Samuel W. Needleman, MD, FACP

Samuel W. Needleman, MD, FACP is a Hematologist/Medical Oncologist having clinical interests in prostate, lung, ENT and kidney tumors, leukemia and lymphoma, colorectal cancer, bladder cancer, bleeding and clotting disorders, pain relief and palliative care.  He received his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in 1975 and completed his Internal Medicine Internship, Residency and Hematology-Oncology Fellowship from 1975-1980 with University of Iowa hospitals and Clinics.  Dr. Needleman was also a Research Fellow in Thrombosis and Hemostasis from 1980-1982 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics and a Research Associate in Molecular Biology at the National Cancer Institutes of Health from 1982-1984.  Dr. Needleman is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, is certified in the Subspecialties of Hematology and Oncology, and is a Diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners.
