It's a program designed to give you real hands on experience in the world of law enforcement. The Randall County Citizen Academy, which you could be a part of. People in the Academy will participate in a number of activities and training such as rides with a sheriff deputy, a mock high risk stop, crime scene investigation, shooting at the fire range, a tour of the jail, CPR certification, and much more. Its a 12 week program which meets once a week on Tuesdays for three hours. The classes start March 20th. Anyone who lives in Randall county and is 21 or older can apply. The Citizen Academy is Free.
