Feds May Approve New Muti-Vaccine for Children

The number of vaccinations your children receive could soon change...

A five-in-one childhood vaccine has won the endorsement of federal health advisers.

The vaccine is meant to prevent diphtheria, tetanus, whooping cough, polio and a bacterial infection that can cause meningitis, pneumonia and arthritis.

The vaccine's maker says if approved, it could eliminate 7 of the 23 federally recommended injections children now must endure through age 18 months.
