Clovis Bedroom Shooting Trial Moved

A trial for three men accused of killing a ten year old boy while he slept at his Clovis home will be held out of Curry County.

State District Judge Joe Parker granted a defense motion for a change of venue because of pre-trial publicity.

He's considering Lea County for the March trial.

Two Clovis brothers, 21 year old Demetrio Salas and 22 year old Edward Salas, and 30 year old David Griego, are charged with first degree murder.

A bullet hit Carlos Perez in the head as he slept next to his brother on September 15th, 2005.

Several gun shots had been fired through the bedroom window.

27-Year old Noe Torres is still wanted in connection with the murder.

    Amarillo Police are looking for three suspects who are accused of stabbing a man early Sunday morning. They say the victim was at the Sanborn park around 2:30 a.m. when he was approached by the suspects. Officials say the victim was stabbed twice in the abdomen and was transported to the hospital. If you know anything about this incident, call Amarillo Crime Stoppers at 374-4400.
