County Attorney Threatens 8-Liner Crackdown

Potter County has issued a warning for operators and players of 8-liner machines.

The County Attorney's office says they have been investigating several 8-liner operations in the area.

They tell us anyone who believes the devices are legal will get their chance to test that theory in court.

According to the attorney's office, people who play the devices may be charged with a Class "C" misdemeanor and up to a 500 dollar fine.

They also say owners of the businesses will be charged with gambling promotion and could face a year in jail with a four-thousand dollar fine.
