It has been a whirlwind of emotion for a Texhoma family...10 year old Marissa Graham was kidnapped while riding her bike in a park near her home.
No one heard from her from 6:30 Thursday evening until early this afternoon, when she ran into a Clovis convenience store asking for help.
She had apparently escaped from her abductor...authorities believe, when he stopped for gas.
While police concentrate on finding the suspect.... Marissa's parents make the trip from Texhoma to Clovis to make sure their daughter is safe.
NewsChannel 10's Marissa Bagg has the story.
It's been an emotional day for the Graham family who arrived in Clovis around 9:00 p.m.
I spoke with Christopher Graham, Marissa's father, several times today...he says he is relieved to know his daughter is safe. ...we're told the police will now turn the investigation over to the FBI.
Clovis Police say they will help them anyway we can.
The search for the kidnapper is still on tonight.
He is described as a white man... 35 to 40 years old...possibly brown hair. We're also told the abductor has facial hair and a pasty complexion. The suspect could be driving two vehicles, from a purple, four-door van or SUV, to a four-door white car.
