Gas, Oil Prices Falling

Gas prices continue to fall in the Lone Star State.

The weekly AAA Texas gas price survey shows that regular, self-serve is averaging $2.11 per gallon statewide.

Here in Amarillo gas can be found for as little as $1.99 today.

The most expensive fill-up can be found  in the Austin area, where it averages 2.17 per gallon. The cheapest gas is in Corpus Christi, at 1.98 per gallon.

The price of crude oil is down to nearly $50 a barrel.

It's been almost two years since the industry has seen crude oil prices this low, and it's both welcome news for businesses and customers.
