Authorities have now called off the search for a pit bull that attacked a woman in Pampa.
According to Pampa police, the woman could not positively identify the animal that bit her.
In the area of the attack, near Alcock and Nelson streets, Animal control officials found a dog they suspect was responsible.
But after looking at a canine lineup, the woman could not be sure it was the right dog.
She has reportedly declined rabies shots from the Texas Department of Health.
