Some OK Residents Still Without Power

More people in the Oklahoma panhandle now have electricity. 

Tri-County Electric Cooperative representatives tell us there are now less than 500 accounts in the Texas and Cimarron Counties without power.

Of those, only fifteen belong to residents.

The remaining are to non-residential accounts such as irrigation systems and oil wells.

There are six crews working on restoring power to those residents.  They hope to have all electricity back on by Friday evening.

The power is still out for around 3,500 folks in the Oklahoma Panhandle because of the latest winter storm. The Tri-County Electric Cooperative is reporting the bulk of those outages in the towns of Adams, Optima and Kenton in Cimarron County...
