Power Out for some in OK Panhandle

The power is still out for around 3,500 folks in the Oklahoma Panhandle because of the latest winter storm.

The Tri-County Electric Cooperative is reporting the bulk of those outages in the towns of Adams, Optima and Kenton in Cimarron County. The company has sucessfully restored power to around one-thousand homes so far today.

The National Guard is going door-to-door checking on the welfare of people who have been stranded in their homes since the storm hit on Friday.
