Amtrak passenger trains were detoured through Amarillo over the weekend because of bad weather.

One of our viewers shot this picture of the Southwest Chief rolling into Amarillo over the weekend. The train had to re-route through here because of snow in Raton.

This viewer also tells he witnessed at least four more Amtrak locomotives detouring through Amarillo because of the bad weather on its regular route through New mexico and Colorado.
