Alleged Sexual Abuse at Local Day Care

It is a parent's worst nightmare--

A man is suspected of sexually abusing a 3-year-old at a local day care center.

After weeks of investigating...

Officials tell us they suspect a worker at Hagy Child Care Center did in fact commit this horrible crime.

"We informed the day care today that we have reason to believe that there was sexual abuse at the Haggy day care center," says Greg Cunningham with Family & Protective Services.

The victim a 3-year-old.

It was back in November when these allegations surfaced...

And the man at the center was taken off the job.

"Our objective is to make the day care safe for children by removing alleged perpetrator we have done that at this point," he says.

Officials could not go into great detail about the case.

But here's what we did find out about what could lie ahead for the suspect.

"He has a finding in his history now of sexual abuse of course he'll have an opportunity to ask for a hearing or an appeal of that if those findings come permanent he will not be able to work at a day care in Texas," says Cunningham.

According to Cunningham no action is being taken against the day care at this point.

It is still open and we are told it hasn't had a history of serious allegations prior to this.

"They do not have any major findings against them in the past several years," he says.

Police say no arrests have been made.

This case is still under investigation.

As for parents if you want to check out this day care or any other...

You can do so online...
