F-16 Update

New information on the pilot flying the Cannon Air Force Base F-16 that went down in Iraq nearly a week ago. 
It has now been confirmed 34-year-old Major Troy Gilbert was killed in action. 
   According to the U.S. Air Force, an Armed Forces medical examiner made the DNA match on Saturday from some of the remains recovered at the crash site. 
   Major Gilbert was flying a  F-16 jet from Cannon Air Force base last Monday when it crashed near Baghdad while supporting ground troops.
   At this time, the U.S. Military is still trying to locate Gilbert's body.
   The cause of the crash is still under investigation, but officials believe the F-16 was not shot

    Construction is underway on Canyon's new aquatic park, which is still on schedule to open to the public on June 1st. The aquatic park is just a bunch of holes in the ground right now. But when the slides go up (by April 10th), people will start to see how close the project is to completion.

    The Amarillo Police Department says phone scams are more prevalent now. In just one month, the APD reports 16 victims being phone scammed out over $180,000.
