Keith D. Bjork MD
Dr. Bjork is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon, with special interest and training in sports medicine and trauma. He received his medical degree from Texas Tech University after completing his B. S degree in Geology from the University of Texas at Austin. He completed internship and residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Texas Health science center in San Antonio. He then traveled to Australia for additional training in minimally invasive arthroscopy techniques relating to knees and shoulders.
In 1994, He founded Amarillo Bone and Joint Clinic, LLP, where he still practices. Dr. Bjork currently cares for a wide variety of patients, including all levels of athletes from professional to amateur. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic surgeons, Texas Medical Association, Texas Orthopaedic Association, Arthroscopy Association of North America, American Association of Orthopaedic Sports Medicine, Potter/Randall Medical society. He has served as the team physician for the United States Olympic Hockey Team- 2002- Salt Lake City Utah, medical director for the Amarillo Gorillas Hockey Club, and team physician for many area schools.
