The Potter County jury deciding the fate of a man accused of killing another man with a hammer....decided to postpone their deliberations.
In an unusual move, the jurors originally requested to work late tonight in the murder trial of 25-year-old Octavio Bautista.
The jury will now reconvene first thing tomorrow morning.
Bautista is accused of killing Juan Sanchez in August of 2005 in the 700 block of Wilson street in Amarillo. Prosecutors say the two men argued early in the day on August 7th...that argument reportedly prompted Bautista to grab a hammer and kill Sanchez later that same evening.
