Ethanol Plant Coming to Muleshoe

Panda Energy has announced another ethanol plant to be built in our area.

Panda plans to construct a state of the art refinery in Muleshoe very similar to the one they are currently building in Hereford.

The plant will use cow manure to fuel the facility and will produce 100-million gallons of ethanol a year.

Construction is expected to take about 18 months and will begin as soon as all of the environmental permits are in place.
