About Harrington Cancer Center

The Don & Sybil Harrington Cancer Center opened its doors in 1981 as the first facility in the region dedicated to reducing the burden of cancer and blood diseases.  Built by the people of the High Plains to serve the needs of cancer patients who formerly had to travel hundreds of miles for cancer treatment, The Don & Sybil Harrington Cancer Center serves the people of Amarillo, the Texas Panhandle, and parts of New Mexico, Oklahoma, Colorado and Kansas.

Our mission statement is:  To reduce the burden of cancer and blood diseases in our communities through patient care, cancer education and research.

Services
The Don & Sybil Harrington Cancer Center is a non-profit, freestanding, community cancer center providing care at our main campus, the Comprehensive Breast Center and the Coulter Campus radiation therapy facility.  The services within these facilities encompass the three areas of our mission statement:  patient care, cancer education and research.
