High speed chase ends in arrest, injured deputy and recovery of stolen vehicles

HARTLEY COUNTY, TX (KFDA) - A high speed chase in Hartley County ended with an arrest, an injured deputy and recovery of stolen vehicles and a firearm.

Wednesday around 10:00 a.m. a stolen vehicle was spotted on Highway 54.

The suspect lead police on a pursuit that ended after Dallam County deputies rammed the vehicle.

Hartley County deputies then shot out the left side tires of the suspects vehicle.

Three vehicles were damaged as a result of the suspects actions.

The suspect is connected with 7 stolen cars and at least one firearm and has been arrested for felony crimes multiple times.

1 Hartley County deputy suffered minor injuries when his vehicle crashed into a pipe fence during the pursuit.
